Overview

Matt Jager is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Atlanta office. Mr. Jager is admitted to practice in Georgia and Alabama.

Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, Mr. Jager’s practice focused on the defense of healthcare professionals and entities in malpractice litigation, as well as in administrative enforcement matters involving Medicare/Medicaid and professional licensing boards. Mr. Jager also represented healthcare and staffing companies in cases involving claims of negligent hiring, retention, and/or credentialing. Mr. Jager additionally has experience handling business disputes, trademark and trade secret litigation, and complex personal injury litigation on both the defense and plaintiff sides.

Mr. Jager is a graduate of Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. While at Cumberland, Mr. Jager served as a Research and Writing Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and Chairman of the Cordell Hull Speakers Forum. Prior to law school, Mr. Jager obtained his undergraduate degree from Auburn University.
