As a native Kentuckian, Mr. Virgin has dedicated his practice to advocating for folks across the Commonwealth who serve their communities. Although his practice routinely involves the defense of medical malpractice claims, Mr. Virgin also defends claims involving various lines of business including employment, LPL, D&O, MPL, and senior living and aging services. Additionally, Mr. Virgin acts as Kentucky counsel for asbestos litigation on behalf of national product manufacturers.
Mr. Virgin takes great pride in providing counsel to a varied panel of businesses on how to best navigate oftentimes sticky situations that they could be faced with on a day-to-day basis. Issues such as risk management, employment matters, and other potential areas of concern are his priority, and it’s important to him that his clients know that he understands the challenges they face.
Moreover, Mr. Virgin has specific expertise in creating and implementing risk management policies and protocols for healthcare entities and law firms drawing on his extensive experience in representing these professionals once the alleged negligence has already occurred. By staying up to date on evolving case law and regulatory requirements, Mr. Virgin is routinely relied upon by his clients in an effort to mitigate risk on the front end.
Mr. Virgin graduated from the University of Kentucky where he was a letter winner and team captain of the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. Upon graduation, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Currently, Mr. Virgin is an active member with the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and is Secretary/Treasurer of the Board for the Hearing and Speech Center.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys following all things University of Kentucky athletics and spending time with his wife, Erica, his son, Brady, and his furry son, Rupp.
