Overview

John J. Heil is Senior Counsel in the Boston and Providence offices of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Healthcare sections. His practice focuses on the defense of medical providers, health care professionals, and health care facilities. He has extensive experience in the defense of litigation involving catastrophic injury and death. He also represents health care professionals before licensing boards and regulatory agencies. Prior to joining Freeman Mathis and Gary, John worked at a Boston area firm focusing on the defense of medical malpractice actions, representing health care professionals and facilities in all stages of litigation in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
