Mr. Molinari’s commercial litigation practice focuses on litigation of intellectual property claims (trade secret, trademark, copyright), as well as a specialty in the handling of Title 15 (Lanham Act) and Title 17 (Copyright) claims before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He also handles a variety of more traditional commercial litigation including commercial contract, unfair business practice, and trade libel and false advertising, as well as claims brought against individual owners, directors, and officers for alleged breach of fiduciary duty, and the alleged improper usurping of business opportunities.
His professional liability practice includes the defense of homeowner associations, real estate professionals, and escrow offices with respect to real estate transactions, as well as professional geotechnical and structural engineers and contractors named in construction defect litigation involving multiple types of residential and commercial construction.
Mr. Molinari’s employment practice is also recognized throughout Southern California for his ability to successfully identify and address lawsuits asserting claims against his clients for discrimination, retaliation, harassment and unlawful termination, whether such claims are brought on an individual or class action basis. He also provides advice and counsel to his clients regarding appropriate policies and risk management advice in order to proactively avoid claims and litigation.
As a seasoned litigator, Mr. Molinari is also called upon by the firm’s clients to defend catastrophic injury claims, whether they arise from vehicular, real property, or assault and battery circumstances. His ability to successful manage brain, spinal cord, loss of limb, and death claims through resolution makes him a valuable asset in response to claims that have great personal and financial impact on clients and their coverage providers.
