Overview

Colleen L. Foster is an Associate attorney at Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Chicago office. Ms. Foster’s practice focuses on the defense of claims in the areas of insurance and bad faith claims; professional liability; tort and catastrophic loss; and complex commercial litigation in Illinois.  Ms. Foster works diligently to obtain the best possible resolution for her clients. Clients appreciate the focus and attention to detail she provides to resolving every matter as well as her ability to address potential issues which could arise in the future.

Ms. Foster draws on her experience as an associate attorney from her time at Goldberg Segalla, LLP, where she handled various complex commercial and products liability matters. It was there where Ms. Foster honed her expertise on the inner workings and complexities of litigation. She also relies on her significant experience involving insurance and bad faith claims, including her time spent at Merlin Law Group, BatesCarey, LLP, and Markel Corporation. She also draws on her time working as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law, where she coaches the Civil Litigation Mock Trial team.

Ms. Foster obtained her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. She received her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Ms. Foster was a member of the Mock Trial Civil Litigation Team. As a 3L she was the Publicity Director and Captain of the team.
