Chandler Justine Emmons is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Forest Park and Atlanta offices as part of the Government Law and Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Chandler served as the Staff Attorney for Judge Aaron B. Mason in Clayton County Superior Court where she handled both the civil and criminal dockets.
Chandler received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University, and her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law. Her first opportunity to work within the legal field came while at Tulane when she secured an internship with Orleans Public Defenders. While at American, Chandler earned a position on International Law Review, and was elected to be the Director of Faculty Relations and Alumni Affairs for the Black Lawyers Student Association. As a 3L, Chandler served as a Student Attorney for the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic, where she represented individuals in contested domestic litigation throughout D.C. and Maryland courts.
