Overview

Carlos Fernández is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Atlanta office. Born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, he graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and graduated from Emory University with degrees in Political Science and English.

Mr. Fernández completed his legal studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he earned a Certificate of Family Law, was a trial practice teaching assistant. Subsequently, he moved to Atlanta to practice family law and then completed a tour with the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office.

Professionally, Mr. Fernández is fluent in Spanish and is barred in Georgia and Florida. Personally, he spends most days with his wife and golden retriever, Pancakes. He plays basketball and tennis, enjoys crime fiction books, and tends to his garden of cacti.
